I bought 2 pairs of prescription glasses. After a few weeks i could see very tiny bubbles in them. I took them back to dr`s office was told the anti reflective coating was not right so it took 2 months to have one pair fixed. Now I left my other pair its been close to 5 months and i haven`t got them back. they told they can`t get ar right it seems it does not work with the type of lence. I `m really upset its taking so long. I have call the drs` office but all they keep telling me there coming in soon. What else should i do i spend $500 for both. I don`t think their going to fix them.

basically the process of anti reflection is basically an AR coating which is depositing one or may be more than one layers of materials mostly gernal oxides with reflective index somewhere in between air and sapphire in this way the incident light will under go reflection both in air and sapphire boundary if this thickness is properly chosen then a destructive interference would appear between two reflected waves in our watches there is multiple destructive interference, bringing the reflected light to almost azero level

The glasses are quite costly being that they are the new wave of technology,also there are different type of glasses in terms of manufacturing standards different companies try each day to come up with anew model that may outshine the other therefore the different brands that are there that would force the prices to vary the prices may vary from a re buck or two,in fact t the major companies that are known to be ahead in this technology transformation may b e manufacturing glasses and depending on their demand market the price might be very expensive

NO, it is not worth it, unlike the "Real 3D" systems in movie theatres- home systems still use those terrible cardboard red and blue things that we all decided sucked in the 80s. Studios are now trying to gimmick them back into our homes as a result of the popularity of 3D movies in the cinemas- but they don`t tell us the technology is now where near close enough to get in home real 3D. Save yourself the headache- literally, and stick with 2D
