Yes, the bank will inform you in written.The bank at first start by sending the notice to the person after 90 days . After that the bank provides a deadline to him so that the person pay the loan off and take himself out of it. If the person is unable to pay, he is taken to the court. We have been working on our B of A Loan Modification for more than 8 months ! The process is unending and goes nowhere. They have little desire to part with all of the federal money that they grabbed. I would like to see these people put in jail.

The bank does not start its process of foreclosure till 3 months if the person does not make any payments for 3 months. the bank will only levy some amount of late fee on the payment if the payment is done with in 90 days from the expected date of payment. if thepayment is not done till then, the bank starts its procedure of foreclosure. The wait time for banks is usually 90 days estimated to 3 months during which the mabnk waitd for the customer to pay back his dues , but if he fails to do so, the bank proceeds with foreclosure .
