I don`t answer many questions on Yahoo Answers.
you never know where the other person`s head is at or his goals.
It would be very easy for me to say yes to your question.
I feel and believe your question is really looking for another answer.
My question is,
"Do you really think $75k/year is enough to live on in Los Angeles?
Why are you posting your question in the Los Angeles section?" You could live very good in Washington,
I think you want more out of life and realize life is short.
I think you are looking for a great life style.
Somewhere you can sink your teeth into and have a great young life.
Something like the life you see on television about Los Angeles but not as fast.
If I am correct,
than let`s get real.
You are headed for the right place.
snow capped mountains,
good and bad people,
and plenty of fun for a young man.
You can do,
and have everything and anything in Los Angeles.
I repeat If,
you have the money.
$50k/year for a single man after taxes,
is not going to cut it in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles is just like a Hollywood script.
Most people in Los Angeles have two cars.
You will see they drive expensive cars.
Many are keeping up with the Jones and many many more also have the coins.
You will see more Bentleys,
and Roll Royce riding down Hollywood Blvd in one day than you would see in one year in most American cities.
I have lived in Los Angeles for over fifty (smile)
I have seen a many young people hit Los Angeles.
Within five years,
they are headed back home.
They are in some real mean debt or lying around drinking beer and unemployed.
The United States tax system is not made for a working man.
This is very hard for most young people to understand.
All they think about is a job.
Los Angeles has millions of people.
Each person is an opportunity for a young man,
to make millions of dollars.
With a good job and a hustle,
a young man can really move in Los Angeles.
If this is the reason you are coming to Los Angeles,
than by all means hit the air.
You CAN do it.

Click on the pages from 14 thru 63,
and check out the prices on web site below.
After checking out the prices,
I guess $50k/yr.
after taxes doesn`t sound so great?
always have a "hustle" along with your job.
By hustle I mean,
investments in the stock market,
trading commodity futures in gold and silver,
trading the currency market,
a small business,
or travel business.
Things do not always run smooth.
If something happens to your job,
you always have a way to make a dime.
I have four cars.
They are all old (74`
and a 63` Galaxy 500XL),
but they are in great shape and very dependable.
the value of new cars go down each year.
Each year my cars go up in value.
That is what I mean by a "hustle".
Oh well there is the phone so early this morning.
The movie studios want to rent (easy $$$$$$)
my Datsun for another four days.
that is what I mean by the word "Hustle".
